Mick Doherty is a member of the legendary Doherty family: Son of Hugh and Nephew of John Doherty of Donegal. He began actively learning from the family in about 1930 at 6 years of age. He spent much of his life in Western Australia until he died in 2014.

Robert Zielinski was a student of Mick's and his musical colleague.

Neillidh Boyle was born in 1889 in Pennsylvania , USA, to immigrant parents.

The Boyle's returned home to Donegal by the time that Neillidh was 8 years old and set up home near Dungloe in northwest Donegal.

He came to be regarded as a fiddler of unheard of mastery among the fiddlers of Donegal.

Neillidh recorded for the Regal Zonophone label in the 1930's. He passed away in Glasgow in 1961 ... more
